Pest Control Technician

Kolibri Pest Services is looking to add new Pest Control Technicians with a focus on customer service and care. Our ideal candidate is self motivated, well spoken with the ability to lift up 50 lbs. Our family owned and operated business is quickly growing and we want you to be part of it!

Applicant Requirements

•  Must be 18 or Older

• Must be a high school graduate/have a GED 

• Entry level position - No experience necessary.

•  Comprehensive training and licensure, all paid by the company

• Flexible part time schedule; opportunity for more hours as our company expands

• Company vehicle provided (We cover all Gas and Maintenance) 

•  Starting Salary $15; bonus paid for completed training; hourly pay increases at each certification level

• A clean criminal record is required (no misdemeanors or felonies).

• A driver’s license and  good driving record is required (no more than one traffic violation in the past 3 years).

• Must pass Drug Test, Work Physical and Background Check,including Driving Record.

Job Details

• Requires being self-motivated and having a strong work ethic

• Requires  daily interaction with customers

• Requires the ability to effectively present information to customers one-on-one and in small groups

• Requires ability to use field service app to complete routes and communicate with clients

• Requires attention to detail 

• Requires adherence to safety procedures

• Requires a good aptitude for basic math- necessary for doing calculations related to application of products.

• Requires a fitness level that would enable you to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, be sure footed on a roof.

• Requires being comfortable with heights (ladder and roof work), working outside, and  in confined spaces (attics and crawl spaces)

• Requires willingness and ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

• For safety reasons you may need to be clean shaven for certain types of jobs (rebreathers have to be able to seal around your face).
